Resumo

O presente trabalho tratou de analisar a contribuição da prática do voluntariado na promoção da diversidade na Unidade da Air Products em Guaíba/RS. Foram aplicadas entrevistas para se obter as percepções dos empregados sobre o voluntariado, sobre a diversidade e a influência do voluntariado na promoção da diversidade. O referencial teórico de Peter Drucker foi utilizado para corroborar os dados obtidos e contribuir na interpretação das análises realizadas. Os dados coletados foram tratados com o auxílio da matriz GUT, que possibilitou a hierarquização de problemas, ordenados segundo uma escala de prioridades. Com a ferramenta 5W2H foi possível estabelecer um plano de ações estratégicas para que a empresa possa eliminar os gargalos que impedem o desenvolvimento pleno das ações voluntárias e a promoção da diversidade no ambiente organizacional.

 

The present work analyzed the contribution of the practice of the volunteer effort to the promotion of the diversity at Air Products's Unit in Guaíba/RS. Applied interviews to obtain the employees' perceptions on the volunteer effort, about diversity and the influence of the Volunteer effort to promote the diversity. Peter Drucker's theoretical reference was used to corroborate the obtained data and to contribute the interpretation of the accomplished analyses. The collected data were treated with the aid of the tool GUT, that made possible the hierarchization of problems, following a scale of priorities. With the tool 5W2H it was possible to establish a plan of strategic actions so that the company can eliminate the bottleneck that impede the full development of the voluntary actions and the promotion of the diversity in the organizational atmosphere.
