Resumo

Realizou-se a comparação entre dormentes de concreto utilizados na superestrutura ferroviária sem o uso Pad e com o uso da palmilha. Além disso, foram analisados os parâmetros de danos do lastro devido carga transportada, estabilização da camada superior do lastro, ruídos e vibrações. Comparações estas baseadas na revisão da bibliografia existente acerca das aplicações da palmilha em um contexto nacional, tendo em vista seu uso na Estrada de Ferro Carajás, e nas ferrovias da Áustria - Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB) – a partir dos estudos desenvolvido pela Getzner (2017a; 2017b; 2017c).Com os resultados pode-se afirmar que a palmilha aumenta a área de contato entre dormente e lastro, eliminando o efeito dos hanging sleepers (dormentes em suspensão), gerando menos quebra de lastro e menor frequência de socarias. Ou seja, atenua as forças dinâmicas aplicadas na camada do lastro e sublastro, aumentando a distribuição das mesmas em maior número de dormentes.

 

The subject studie is a comparation about concrete sleepers with this product inside, and whitout the same. In addition, were analyzed parameters of ballast damage about the weight transported, stabilization of the top ballast, sounds and vibrations. Comparisons made in tests of Markersdorf (Áustria), and na Estrada de Ferro Carajás (Brasil). The results are the Under Sleeper Pad increases contact area between sleeper and ballast, cut out the effect of hanging sleepers, consequently less breakage of ballast and less frequency of stalls. That is, attenuation as the dynamic force in the ballast layer and sub ballast, increasing the distribution in more sleepers. The Pad had positive results in terms of forces distribution and durability in turnouts.
