Resumo

Este trabalho tem como objetivo realizar uma análise crítica sobre o estado de conformidade operacional e integridade mecânica dos gasômetros gás de Alto Forno e gás de Aciaria da planta da Ternium no Rio de Janeiro, com base em elementos críticos para a Segurança de Processos. Dessa forma, será possível identificar e mitigar os riscos com base em cenários críticos (catastróficos) com risco intolerável e suas respectivas camadas independentes de proteção, de forma a mitigar os riscos que possam se materializarem de forma semelhante a eventos históricos que envolveram gasômetros na Indústria Siderúrgica. A partir da conclusão desta análise, desenvolver um plano de ação a curto, médio e longo prazo para manter e adequar os gasômetros as melhores práticas e recomendações do fabricante

 

This document aims to carry out a critical analysis of the state of operational condition and mechanical integrity of the gasholders of Blast Furnace gas and Steel Making gas at the Ternium Plant in Rio de Janeiro, based on critical elements for Process Safety. In this way, it will be possible to identify and mitigate risks based on critical (catastrophic) scenarios with intolerable risk and their respective Independent Protection Layers (IPL), in order to mitigate the risks that may materialize similarly to historical events that involved gasholders in the Steel Industry. Based on the conclusion of this analysis, develop a short, medium and long-term action plan to maintain and adapt the gasholders to the best practices and recommendations of the manufacturer
