Resumo

Este trabalho teve por objetivo a investigação da(s) causa(s) de falha de um componente mecânico utilizado em um exaustor de máquina de papel. A peça consiste em um rolamento SKF 7314 BECBJ de contato angular com uma carreira de esferas, montado em par, que falhou após três meses de operação contínua em serviço. A partir das análises detalhadas realizadas pôde-se identificar a causa da falha do rolamento bem como os fenômenos envolvidos.

 

This study aimed to the investigation of the failure cause of a mechanical component used in exhauster of the paper machine. The part consists of a roller bearing SKF 7314 BECBJ of angular contact with a row of bearing balls, mounted on pair, which failed after three months of continuous operation on service. Form detailed analysis could be identify the cause of the roller bearing failure as well as the involved phenomenon.
