Resumo

Este trabalho apresenta uma metodologia para quantificar o estado térmico de panelas de aço em uma Aciaria LD com o objetivo de calcular o aporte de calor necessário na etapa de secagem e aquecimento em um aquecedor a gás natural. A situação atual do sistema de aquecimento foi modelada matematicamente de forma a se obter os balanços de energia na combustão. Através da modelagem por elementos finitos em estado transiente foi possível obter o perfil térmico da panela, quantificar as perdas inerentes ao processo e propor ajuste às curvas do aquecedor.

 

This paper presents a methodology to quantify the thermal state of steel ladle in a Steelmaking in order to calculate the heat input required in the drying and heating process in a natural gas heater. The current situation was modeled mathematically in order to obtain the energy balance in combustion. Through finite element modeling in transient state was possible to obtain the thermal profile of the ladle, measure losses in the process and propose adjustments to the curves of the heater.
