Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar os resultados da aplicação de um dispositivo Poka Yoke em uma célula de produção de uma indústria de autopeças. Buscou-se analisar o desempenho do processo de produção, quanto a sua produtividade e qualidade, e relacionar os custos da não qualidade com os investimentos envolvidos na implementação do dispositivo. A técnica de Poka Yoke, inventada no Japão, tem por objetivo impedir ou prevenir a execução incorreta de uma determinada tarefa ou operação, preservando a segurança dos operadores e evitando perdas de processo. Para isto, utilizam-se, geralmente, dispositivos elétricos, eletrônicos ou mecânicos, aplicados a uma determinada operação do processo industrial. A metodologia desenvolvida para a execução deste trabalho compara os resultados do processo de produção antes e após a implantação do dispositivo Poka Yoke. Neste sentido, utilizou-se dados atuais e históricos de desempenho da célula de produção estudada. Os indicadores revelaram uma melhoria significativa no desempenho do processo de produção, o que resultou em uma maior satisfação dos clientes. No que tange aos custos, pôde-se observar que, se o dispositivo tivesse sido aplicado a mais tempo, ter-se-ia evitado determinados custos adicionais, preservando inclusive a imagem da empresa perante os seus clientes. Por outro lado, os resultados obtidos forneceram informações úteis sobre os benefícios que o dispositivo trouxe para a célula de produção e a própria empresa. Contudo, pode-se dizer que muitos dos problemas do processo ainda não terminaram com a instalação do Poka Yoke.

 

The objective of this work is of evaluating the results in the application of a device Poka Yoke in a cell of production of auto parts company. It was looked for to analyze the existent implications with respect to the performance of the production process, as for the productivity and quality and relate the expenses of the non quality with the costs involved in the implementation of the device. Error proffing technique, was invented in Japan, with the main objective to avoid or to prevent the incorrect execution of a certain task or operation, preserving the safety of the operators and avoiding process losses. Usually these devices are electric, electronic or mechanical, applied to a certain operation of the industrial process. The methodology developed for the execution this work, compares the results of the production process before and after the implantation of the device Poka Yoke. In this sense, current and historical datas from the performance of cell production were studied. The indicators revealed a total improvement in the external performance of the factory, in other words, close to the customer. While the internal performance lowered, mainly in the requirement quality. With respect to part of the costs it can be observed that if the device had been apply in the beginning of the project would have avoided some unnecessary costs and preserved the image of the company in front of the customer. However, the rising given to us information, that the device is beneficial, however not in 100% of the variables of a process. Therefore, for the present case, it can be said that many of the problems of the process still didn't finish with Poka Yoke installation.
