Resumo

Na conjuntura econômica atual, de alta concorrência no mercado siderúrgico e uma estreita margem de lucro, as empresas do setor precisam se adequar a este novo cenário, sabendo aonde investir para que consigam maximizar o valor dos seus ativos. Baseado nesse contexto, o objetivo desse trabalho é apresentar a aplicação de um método de análise do custo do ciclo de vida em uma Central de Água Gelada, através do uso da análise RAM baseada nas curvas estatísticas de confiabilidade, geradas através de dados históricos quantitativos para realização de projeções futuras e com uma estrutura de decomposição de custos que defini as fases específicas do ciclo de vida e as categorias de custos relevantes, visando comparar e identificar a melhor alternativa de projetos que atenda o sistema de resfriamento da planta de tratamento de gás de uma Coqueria, alinhado aos objetivos estratégicos da empresa. Foi possível identificar em cada alternativa estudada a confiabilidade, disponibilidade e mantenabilidade, além do custo anual equivalente (CAE) que suportaram na tomada de decisão

 

In the current economic environment, with high competition in the steel market and a narrow profit margin, companies in the industry need to adapt to this new scenario, knowing where to invest so that they can maximize the value of their assets. Based on this context, the objective of this work is to present the application of a method of life cycle cost analysis in a Cold Water Center, through the use of the RAM analysis based on statistical reliability curves, generated through quantitative historical data for realization of future projections and with a cost decomposition structure that defined the specific phases of the life cycle and the relevant cost categories, aiming to compare and identify the best alternative of projects that meets the cooling system of the gas treatment plant of a Coke plant, in line with the company's strategic objectives. It was possible to identify in each alternative studied the reliability, availability and maintainability, in addition to the annual equivalent cost (EAC) that supported in the decision making
