Resumo

Após o racionamento de energia elétrica de 2001, a demanda de energia elétrica brasileira permaneceu a nível relevantemente abaixo à anterior à crise. Este fator, associado à recuperação dos reservatórios, permitiu que os preços da energia elétrica no Mercado Livre atingissem níveis altamente atrativos para as empresas interessadas em sair do Mercado Cativo. Desta forma, a ArcelorMittal Tubarão, em abril de 2002, assinou com a Concessionária local seus Contratos de Uso do Sistema de Distribuição, para acesso ao Mercado Livre de Energia Elétrica, tanto para a venda como para a compra. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho é mostrar ao público ABM como tem sido a tragetória a ArcelorMittal Tubarão nestes cinco anos de experiência no Mercado Livre de Energia Elétrica.

 

After the rationing of electric energy of 2001, the demand of electric energy in the Brazilian market remained below to the previous year. This factor, associated with the recovery of the water reservoirs, allowed that the prices of the electric energy in the Free Market to reach attractive levels for the companies interested in leaving the Captive Market. In such a way, the ArcelorMittal Tubarão, in April of 2002, signed with the Local Grid Company its Contracts to use the grid, for access to the Free Market of Electric Energy, as much for selling as for purchasing. Thus, the objective of this work is to show to the public ABM as it has been the track of ArcelorMittal Tubarão in these five years of experience in the Free Market of Electric Energy.
