Resumo

Em decorrência do aumento da demanda por Chapas Grossas no mercado nacional e mundial as usinas produtoras de desse produto tiveram que optar em seguir por duas vertentes: ou investir em novos equipamentos ou aperfeiçoar o processo já existente a fim de alavancar a produtividade dos laminadores. Na COSIPA isso não foi diferente, vários trabalhos visando o aumento da produtividade foram desenvolvidos sem a necessidade de grandes investimentos. O presente trabalho visa apresentar o desenvolvimento realizado na Laminação de Chapas Grossas visando o aumento da produtividade do laminador através da otimização do comprimento dos esboços.

 

In result of the increase of the demand for Heavy Plates in the national and world-wide market the plants producing Plates had that to opt in following for two ways. Or to invest in new equipment or to perfect the existing process already in orders to increase the productivity of the rolling mills. In the COSIPA this was not different, some works aiming at the increase of the productivity had been developed without the necessity of great investments. The present work aims at to present the development carried through in the Plate Mill Rolling being aimed at the increase of the productivity of the rolling mill through the increase of the length of the sketches.
