Resumo

Foi com o intuito de agregar valor aos processos de movimentação interna, reduzindo custos e melhorando a ocupação de recursos, que a V &M do Brasil optou pela reestruturação e automatização da logística interna. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar o novo modelo de operação e gestão que envolveu, principalmente, a substituição da frota de carretas convencionais por tratores acoplados a semi-reboques, a implantação de um sistema TMS (Transportation Management System) e a criação de novos itens de controle de processo. Por fim, serão demonstradas as dificuldades encontradas durante o projeto, as adaptações que foram feitas tanto nos equipamentos quanto no sistema e os ganhos obtidos após esta reestruturação.

 

In order to add value to the processes of internal movement, reducing costs and improving the resources occupation, the V & M do BRAZIL decided to restructure and automate the internal logistic. This article will present the new operation and management model that involved the replacement of the conventional trucks to trailers attached to tractors, the deployment of a TMS (Transportation Management System) and the creation of new KPI’s. Finally, it will be demonstrated the difficulties found during the project, the adjustments that were made in equipments and in the system and the benefits achieved after this restructuring.
