Resumo

Ligas intermetálicas à base de Fe3Al apresentam uma queda no limite de escoamento em temperaturas da ambiente até aproximadamente 400°C. Em seguida ocorre um pico no limite de escoamento em temperaturas ao redor de600°C (anomalia no limite de escoamento). Os mecanismos que conduzem ao pico no limite de escoamento destas ligas não são ainda completamente compreendidos. Neste trabalho, foram executados ensaios de tração em corpo-de-prova das ligas Fe-30Al-0,15Zr-0,2B-(0-4,5)Cr (%at.), em temperaturas compreendidas entre a temperatura ambiente e 800

 

Fe3Al based intermetallic alloys present a decreasing in the yield strength values at 400 °C and later a peak around 600°C. Above of this temperature, they present a significant decreasing in the yield strength (anomalous peak). The mechanisms that lead to the stress flow peak of these alloys don’t be completely understood yet.
