Resumo

As exigências para disponibilidade, qualidade e produtividade de plantas de sinterização são continuamente crescentes, e adquiridas com constantes melhorias no controle e otimização do processo. Em 2007, com a expansão da ArcelorMittal Tubarão, a processo de Sinterização foi otimizado para produção de 42t/d/m2, neste contexto foram desenvolvidos estudos visando adequar o sistema de resfriamento do Sinter à nova realidade, além de testes industriais com alguns fornecedores de correias resistentes à alta temperatura. Com isso, viu-se a necessidade da implantação do controle da temperatura do Sinter no Resfriador e de uma correia de Sinter por meio de termografia por infravermelho. Este trabalho mostra os resultados obtidos com a implantação do sistema de termografia no Resfriador e na correia transportadora de Sinter (CT-S102).

 

The requirements for availability, quality and productivity of Sinter Plants are continuously increasing, and acquired with constant improvements in control and process optimization. In 2007, with the expansion of ArcelorMittal Tubarão, the Sintering process was optimized to produce 42t/d/m 2 in this context, studies were developed aiming at improving the Sinter cooling system to the new reality, and industrial testing with some suppliers of belt conveyor resistant to high temperature. With that, it was observed the necessity of deployment of the temperature control in Sinter Cooler and a Sinter Conveyor Belt by Infrared thermography. This paper shows the results with the implantation of thermography in the cooler and on the Sinter conveyor belt (CT-S102).
