Resumo

Este trabalho tem o objetivo de estudar as perdas térmicas em uma panela de aciaria através de medições da temperatura no aço e na panela. A avaliação de perdas térmicas do aço foi realizada com medições de sua temperatura em pontos abrangendo todo processo de refino do aço. Na panela, foram mensuradas as temperaturas nos refratários e na chapa externa. Foram verificadas maiores perdas térmicas no vazamento e no vácuo. As medições de temperatura da panela mostraram que esta apresenta perfis térmicos distintos em cada etapa do refino do aço. O conhecimento das perdas térmicas no aço e dos perfis térmicos da panela permite inferir subsídios para um melhor controle operacional visando à redução das perdas térmicas.

 

This work has the objective to study the thermal losses in a ladle through measurements of temperature in steel and ladle. The evaluation of thermal losses of steel was carried with measurements of its temperature in points having enclosed all process of refining of the steel and it was verified greater thermal losses in the steel tapping and in vacuum. In the ladle the temperatures in the refractory and the external part of ladle had been measured. The measurements of temperature of ladle had shown that this presents distinct thermal profiles in each step of steel refining. The knowledge of the thermal losses in the steel and the thermal profiles of ladle allow inferring subside for one better operational control in favor of reduce heat losses.
