A análise termomecânica (ATM) é uma das ferramentas mais básicas da ciência de materiais, especialmente no campo da análise térmica. A base do ATM é a alteração nas dimensões de uma amostra em função da temperatura. As medições de ATM registram alterações causadas por alterações no volume livre do polímero. A caracterização de ATM pode fornecer informações valiosas sobre a estrutura, composição e possibilidades de aplicação de vários materiais. O Fique (Furcraea andina) é uma planta que está chamando a atenção devida a sua elevada produção, cerca de 30 mil ton/ano. Com isso, o objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar o compósito epoxídico reforçado com tecido de fique e seu desempenho térmico. As variações totais foram pequenas nos compósitos, em especial para E-40%TF.
A thermomechanical analysis (TMA) is one of the tools with the greatest scientific impact, especially in the field of thermal analysis. The basis of the TMA is a reference block of an image in a function of temperature. TMA measurements are not caused by changes in the free volume of the polymer. The characterization of TMA can generate information about the structure, appearance and possibilities of applying various materials. O Fique (Furcraea andina) is a plant that is drawing attention due to its production, about 30 thousand tons / year. With this, the objective of this work was to analyze the epoxy compendium reinforced with stay fabric and its thermal performance. The waves were large in the composites, especially for E-40%FF.
