Resumo
Initially, a description is presented of the Coke Dry Quenching process, as well as its productivity-restrictive variables. The characteristics of the CST's CDQ plant, equipment performance, achieved operational results, energy recovery, and environmental impacts are discussed. This paper also outlines the main start-up problems and the alternative solutions adopted.
