Resumo

A recristalização de um monocristal de ferro puro foi estudada em detalhes por Vandermeer e Rath (V&R). Neste trabalho,a simulação em três dimensões pelo método do Autômato Celular(AC) é comparada com os dados experimentais de Vandermeer e Rath e com o tratamento analítico correspondente. Foi obtida uma boa correlação entre a simulação, os dados experimentais e a descrição analítica dos dados feita por V&R. Foi necessário obter uma dimensionalização do tempo e do espaço e utilizar uma correção para a forma do grão da simulação do AC.

 

Recrystallization of an iron single crystal was studied in detail by Vandermeer and Rath(V&R). In this work, Cellular Automata(CA) simulation in three dimensions is compared with Vandermeer and Rath’s experimental data and with its corresponding analytical treatment. Good agreement was obtained between CA simulations, experimental data and Vandermeer and Rath’s analytical description of the data. It was necessary to get a dimensionalization of the time and the space and to use a correction for the form of the grain of the Cellular Automata simulation.
