Resumo

Neste trabalho, tiras de cobre foram laminadas para se obter tubos aletados. As variáveis importantes ao sucesso do projeto foram: a) a temperatura de tratamento térmico e b) a largura da tira. Tiras largas resultaram em pouca união, levando a escolha de tiras menos largas. Temperaturas altas também resultaram em baixa união. A melhor condição foi tiras de 100 mm de largura e 500°C de tratamento térmico.

 

In this work, copper strips were rolled to get finned tubes. The important process variables were: a) heat treatment temperature and b) the width of the strips. Wide strips result in poor joining, therefore narrow strips were chosen. High temperature also resulted in poor joining. The best choice was strips 100 mm width and heat treatment at 500°C.
