DESENVOLVIMENTO DO PLANEJAMENTO
ESTRATÉGICO PARA UM LABORATÓRIO DE
METALURGIA FÍSICA DE UMA INSTITUIÇÃO DE ENSINO
PÚBLICO: DEVELOPMENT OF STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR A LABORATORY
OF PHYSICAL METALLURGY OF AN INSTITUTION OF PUBLIC EDUCATION

O presente artigo objetiva apresentar o desenvolvimento do Plano Estratégico de um laboratório de ensaios de uma instituição de ensino público. Para tanto, foi utilizado como base o modelo de gestão denominado MEIO (Modelo de Estratégia, Indicadores e Operações) proposto por Müller (2003). Tal método trata a questão desdobrando o plano em três fases distintas: (i) Identidade Organizacional, (ii) Análise do ambiente e, (iii) Delineamento de estratégias. A principal contribuição deste trabalho é fornecer ao laboratório em questão uma melhor compreensão de sua estrutura e da maneira como está inserida no seu mercado específico, podendo embasar-se em seus objetivos estratégicos para tomar decisões a respeito de seu futuro.

This article presents the development of the Strategic Plan for a laboratory of physical metallurgy of an institution of public education. To this end, it was used as the basis for this work the management model called MEIO (Model Strategy, and Operations Indicators) proposed by Müller (2003).This method treats the issue unfolding the plan in three distinct phases: (i) Organizational Identity, (ii) Analysis of the environment, and (iii) Design of strategies. The main contribution of this paper is to provide the laboratory in question a better understanding of its structure and how it is inserted in it’s specific market, making it able to base its decisions about their future in it’s strategic goals.
