Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar o desenvolvimento de um sistema PIMS (Process Information Management System) na Linha de Galvanização Eletrolítica (EGL) da Usiminas – Usina 1. Com o trabalho de uma equipe multidisciplinar foram criadas várias ferramentas de monitoramento de processo que auxiliam nas análises diárias de desvios de qualidade, custos e falhas dos equipamentos diversos da linha. As ferramentas permitiram maior rapidez e precisão na tomada de decisão.

 

The aim of this paper is to present the development of a PIMS system (Process Information Management System) in the Electrolytic Galvanizing Line (EGL) of Usiminas - Plant 1. With the work of a multidisciplinary team several monitoring tools were created to help the daily process analysis of deviations in quality, costs and failures of the line. The tools allow greater speed and accuracy in decision making.
