Resumo

Este trabalho apresenta um case bem sucedido de realização de um Diagnóstico Preditivo da Confiabilidade Operacional, aplicado ao Projeto de Expansão do laminador de tiras a quente, LTQ, da planta de Tubarão, localizada na Serra-ES, da ArcelorMittal Brasil. O trabalho detalha a aplicação multidisciplinar de ferramentas de análise, qualitativas e quantitativas, de forma a avaliar a qualidade do dimensionamento do projeto e das diversas iniciativas das áreas envolvidas, com ênfase na predição dos impactos potenciais negativos ao sucesso do empreendimento.

 

This paper presents a successful case of a reliability operational diagnosis carried on the project of capacity expansion of the hot strip mills, located in the ArcelorMittal Tubarão plant, Serra-ES. The paper details the application of a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis tools with the main purpose to evaluate the quality of project and the involved areas initiatives, by predicting the potential impacts for the facilities success.
