Resumo

O revestimento galvannealed (GA) possui excelentes características de soldabilidade, conformabilidade, resistência à corrosão e aderência da tinta. A qualidade desse revestimento é estreitamente dependente da condição de seu tratamento térmico, principalmente nos aços de alta resistência mecânica, que em função de suas baixas reatividades, necessitam de um aporte térmico mais controlado. Nesse estudo, visou-se determinar o efeito do tratamento térmico (galvannealing) na qualidade de revestimentos GA formados sobre aços de alta resistência. Para isso, foram simulados em uma máquina Gleeble, ciclos de galvannealing dentro de uma ampla faixa de processamento. Os resultados permitiram identificar, para cada aço estudado, a existência de uma faixa adequada de temperatura e tempo, abaixo da qual o revestimento não está transformado, e acima da qual ocorre uma formação excessiva da fase

 

Galvanneal coated sheet steels has good corrosion resistance, assists paint to adhere to the steel and improves weldability and formability. The quality of these galvannealed products is close related with the galvannealing cicles, mainly in high strength sheet steels, which the presence of elements such as P and B decrease the Fe reactivity. The purpose of this work was to identify the influence of galvannealing cicles on the galvanneal coating of high strength steels. The galvannealing thermal cicles were simulated in a large range of temperature and time, using a Gleeble machine. The results showed a range of temperature and time necessary to reach the better microstructure of galvannealed coatings.
