Resumo

Neste trabalho foi estudada uma liga monocristalina Cu-13,5%Al-4%Ni com o efeito de memória de forma (EMF), submetida a três ciclos de deformação por compressão a temperatura ambiente e posterior aquecimento. Maior atenção foi dada ao estudo do comportamento mecânico da liga, bem como as alterações estruturais ocorridas durante as solicitações mecânicas e o retorno ao estado inicial, após o aquecimento da amostra a 100 oC (acima de Af). A liga monocristalina Cu-13,5%Al-4%Ni foi fabricada por uma tecnologia desenvolvida pelo "Memory Crystals Group", na Universidade Técnica Estadual de São Petersburgo, na Rússia. A caracterização estrutural da liga foi feita por difração de raios-X, usando a radiação de Cu-K

 

In this work a single-crystalline alloy Cu-13,5%Al-4%Ni with the shape memory effect (SME), submitted to three cycles of compression deformation at room temperature and later heating have been investigated. More attention have been done to the study of the mechanical behavior of the alloy, as well as the structural changes which occurred during the mechanical tests and the return to the initial state, after the sample heating at 100 oC (above of Af). The single-crystalline Cu-13,5%Al-4%Ni alloy was produced at the Memory Crystals Group, Saint-Petersburg State Technical University, in Russia, according to their specific technology. The structure characteristic of the alloys was studied by X-ray diffraction method using Cu-K
