The mallow fibers (Urena lobata, linn) demonstrate great potential in the use as reinforcement in polymer matrix composites. In this work, epoxy composites with mauve fibers were produced in the volumetric fractions of 0%, 10%, 20% and 30%, in order to investigate the resistance and flexural modulus. For the analysis of these parameters, the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the Tukey\\\'s test were applied, from which it was possible to state, with a confidence level of 95%, that the epoxy test bodies reinforced with 30% of fibers, had the best performance, reaching 191.27 MPa and 10.9 GPa, respectively for maximum flexural strength and modulus of elasticity in flexion.
