Resumo

As equações presentes na literatura para estimar a taxa de produção de um empreendimento mineiro e, consequentemente, a vida útil do depósito mineral, como as propostas por Taylor, Long, dentre outros, não apresentam boa aderência à realidade das minas brasileiras. Este trabalho tem como objetivo estudar e propor equações mais consistentes para aplicação em diferentes cenários de operação e tipos de depósitos. Estas novas equações foram obtidas através da Simulação de Monte Carlo e levaram em consideração a segmentação das minas por substância mineral, pelo método de lavra e pelo porte dos empreendimentos em operação no Brasil entre 2010 e 2015, sendo subdivididas em duas tabelas que as agrupam por método de lavra. Foram efetuadas 172.000.000 simulações nos eventos lavrados a céu aberto e 30.000.000 simulações nos lavrados através de métodos subterrâneos combinados com os lavrados a céu aberto em concomitância com métodos subterrâneos, resultando em 113 equações. Conclui-se que as equações propostas neste trabalho oferecem maior confiabilidade que as metodologias até então aplicadas.

 

The equations present in the literature to estimate the production rate of a mining enterprise and, consequently, the life time of the mineral deposit, such as those proposed by Taylor, Long, among others, do not present good adherence to the reality of Brazilian mines. This report aims to study and propose more consistent equations for application in different operation scenarios and deposit types. These new equations were obtained through Monte Carlo Simulation and took into account the segmentation of mines by mineral substance, by mining method and by the size of the projects in operation in Brazil between 2010 and 2015, being subdivided into two tables that group them by mining method. A total of 172,000,000 simulations were conducted at open pit events and 30,000,000 simulations were performed in underground methods combined with open pit methods in conjunction with underground methods, resulting in 113 equations. It is concluded that the equations proposed in this work offer greater reliability than the methodologies previously applied.
