Resumo

A carroceria de um automóvel é composta por vários tipos de materiais e vários tipos de peças, sendo muitos deles itens de segurança. O teste de flexão tem grande importância na seleção destes materiais para a aplicação na indústria automobilística. Para a execução do mesmo, deve-se seguir procedimentos específicos de cada montadora, porém neste estudo que tem a finalidade de comparação, foi seguido o mesmo procedimento para os dois tipos de barras de proteção lateral (tubular e estampado), ou seja, dois pontos de apoios móveis e uma força aplicada no centro do comprimento das barras de proteção lateral, com uma velocidade de 4 à 12 mm/s. Foi comparado os resultados teóricos com os práticos, e então, à partir da especificação mínima exigida no projeto da carroceria se faz a escolha entre um dos materiais ou produtos.

 

The truck of an automobile is composed by several types of materials and several types of pieces, being many of them items of safety. The flexing test has great importance in the selection of these materials for the application in the automobile industry. For the execution of the same, it should be followed specific procedures of each assembler, however in this study that has the comparison purpose, the same procedure was followed for the two types of bars of lateral protection (tubular and printing), in other words, two movable support points and a force being applied in the center of the length of the bars of lateral protection, with a speed of 4 to 12 mm/s. Para the study was observed the theoretical results with the practical ones and then the starting from the minimum specification demanded in the project of the truck is done the choice among one of the materials.
