Resumo

Este trabalho apresenta uma aplicação de técnicas como a calorimetria diferencial de varredura, DSC, e a difração de raios X, DRX, na avaliação de revestimentos de matrizes para a injeção de alumínio do tipo filmes finos de TiN e CrN. Ele se propõe também a apresentar a termodinâmica computacional como ferramenta auxiliar na interpretação dos resultados.

 

This work is aimed at the utilization of techniques like differential scanning calorimetry, DSC, and X-ray diffraction, XRD, in the evaluation of thin film stability for the sheathing of tools for aluminum die casting made with TiN and CrN. Besides, it is also in sight the presentation of computational thermodynamics as an auxiliary tool for the results interpretation.
