Resumo

Este trabalho tem como objetivo o estudo das variáveis de tratamentos térmicos para a obtenção de tubos com costura com homogeneidade estrutural. As principais variáveis estudadas estão relacionadas com temperaturas e tempos de tratamentos térmicos.O controle estrito de temperatura e tempos de tratamentos térmicos permite obter microestruturas homogêneas mantendo características de boas propriedades. Os materiais foram caracterizados do ponto de vista microestrutural através de microscopia óptica e eletrônica e a resistência através do ensaio de tração. Os resultados obtidos demonstram a possibilidade da obtenção de tubos com excelente desempenho onde possam estar envolvidos processos de conformação ou aquecimento. A homogeneidade estrutural em toda a secção do tubo permitiu a obtenção de ótimos resultados de tensão de escoamento e resistência máxima.

 

The main of this work is to study the influence temperature and time of normalizing heat treatment in the microstructural homogeneity of steel welded pipe. The control of these heat treatment parameters makes possible to reach homogeneity in the microstructure and as a consequence to optimize the mechanical properties of the final product. The microstructure of the heat treated samples was evaluated by both optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy while the information about mechanical properties was obtained by tensile strength tests and hardness measurements. The results indicated that is possible to produce welded pipe of excellent performance to be used in situations which can involve cold or hot mechanical works. The microstructural homogeneity produced in all section of the heat treated tubes allowed reaching high yield strength and elevating the ultimate strength.
