Resumo

A área de matérias-primas de uma usina siderúrgica integrada corresponde à etapa inicial de um ciclo produtivo, cujo produto final é o aço. Neste contexto, a área de recebimento deve funcionar garantindo o suprimento destas matérias- primas em qualidade, operacionalidade e custo. Podemos dizer que a qualidade e custo do produto final estão intimamente ligados à etapa inicial do processo. Desta forma, a construção do modelo de simulação em Arena® visa avaliar a capacidade efetiva do sistema de recebimento, estocagem, manuseio e abastecimento de matérias-primas para os setores consumidores (altos-fornos, sinterização e calcinação) da CST, visando atendimento da meta de produção para o Plano de 7,5 Mtaço /ano.

 

The area of the receiving of the raw material of steel work integration is the beginning process of a productive cycle, which the final productive are the several steel products. In this context, the receiving area needs operate with quality guaranty for the supply these materials in good operation condition and low cost. We may say that the quality and cost of the final product are intimately connected to the initial process step. This way the simulation model construction in Arena intend to evaluate the effective capacity of the receiving system, storage, handling and raw material supply to the consumers sectors (Blast Furnace, Sinter Plant and Lime Plant) of CST, to attend the 7,5 Mtsteel/y production plan.
