Resumo

Estruturas de controle de processos de britagem, especificamente da britagem do Complexo Minerador de Conceição - CVRD, são discutidas. O principal objetivo do controle deste processo é a estabilização das variáveis controladas, mantendo o sistema funcionando continuamente, sem atingir os limites operacionais máximos ou mínimos. Estes limites são controlados pelo intertravamento lógico, os quais provocam paradas na produção, diante da ocorrência de faltas, reduzindo a disponibilidade do sistema. A estabilização das malhas aumenta o tempo de vida útil e diminui o consumo energético dos equipamentos, além de melhorar a produtividade da planta e a operacionalidade do sistema. O trabalho foi desenvolvido na britagem secundária, porém o foco é a integração de todo o complexo de britagem, por meio de técnicas de análise e controle amplo, proporcionando melhorias consideráveis na planta como um todo e servindo de base para o desenvolvimento de outros sistemas, envolvendo técnicas avançadas de controle de processos.

 

Control structures for crushing process, specifically of the crushing of Mining Complex of Conceição – CVRD, are explained. The main control objective of this process is the stabilization of the several controlled variables, keeping the system working continuously, without hit the highest and lowest operational limits. These limits are dealt by the interlock logic, whose bring the production to stop, front occurrence of faults, reducing the system availability. The stability of the control loops increases the life and decreases the energy consumption of the equipments, further to improve the plant productivity and the system operation. This survey was developed in the secondary crushing, however the aim is the integration of the whole crushing complex, through plantwide control and analyses techniques. These bring considerable improvements to the plant as one and act as the base for the development of other systems, involving advanced process control.
