Resumo

A logística tem evoluído e se destacado como uma área fundamental no desenvolvimento das condições competitivas das organizações. O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em apresentar a evolução do sistema de armazenagem dos itens sobressalentes com a integração do projeto de controle dos itens nos Armazéns Avançados nas áreas usuárias da CSN. Neste trabalho foram combinadas as modalidades de pesquisa, Documental, Descritiva, Histórica e Levantamentos, e o uso da técnica de pesquisa de Entrevista. O presente trabalho mostra as vantagens dos novos métodos de armazenagem e controle dos materiais até o momento mais próximo da aplicação através dos Armazéns Avançados. Através deste controle, houve uma melhora significativa no fluxo de abastecimento dos sobressalentes utilizados na manutenção.

 

Logistics has been evolved and distinguished as a fundamental area in the development of the organizations’ competitive conditions. The objective of this paper is to present the evolution of the spare parts storing system along with the integration of the control project of these items in the Advanced Warehouses for users at CSN. In this work, it has been combined the Documentary, Descriptive, Historical and Survey modalities of research, as well as the use of the Interview technique of research. The current paper shows the advantages of using new methods of storage and control of the materials up to the closest moment of application through the Advanced Warehouses. Throughout this control, there has been a significant improvement in the flow of spare parts used in maintenance.
