Resumo

O presente estudo apresenta os resultados obtidos da textura e microtextura de dois aços inoxidáveis ferríticos, AISI 430A e 430E, submetidos a laminação a frio e recozimento, com o intuito de acompanhar a formação da textura de recristalização de ambos os materiais. Os materiais foram fornecidos como chapas na condição de laminadas a quente, com 4mm de espessura, pela ACESITA S.A. e, em seguida, foram laminados 80% a frio e recozidos em banho de sal, por 30 s em temperaturas várias. Após estes tratamentos, as amostras foram analisadas através de medição da textura cristalográfica pela técnica de EBSD (“Electron Backscatter Diffraction”) e MIO (Microscopia de Imagens Orientadas). Os resultados experimentais mostraram que as texturas observadas nos dois aços foram semelhantes. Os mapas de orientações e suas correspondentes figuras de pólo inversas mostraram que as principais orientações presentes nos dois materiais foram {111}<101>, {100}<011> e {100}<001>. Também foi visto que os grãos {111} recristalizam primeiro em colônias de grãos alinhados, enquanto grãos próximos {001} permanecem recuperados.

 

The present is a study of the texture and microtexture of two ferritic stainless steels, AISI 430A and AISI 430E, subject to thermomechanical treatments aiming at a better understanding of the formation of the recrystallisation texture in these materials. The materials were supplied as 4mm thick hot rolled sheets by ACESITA S.A., being 80% cold rolled and annealed in a salt bath, for 30 s, at various temperatures. Samples were analised for texture and microtexture by EBSD and OIM techniques. The analysis of the orientation maps and corresponding inverse pole figures showed that the main components present in the treated materials were {111}<101>, {001}<100> and {001}<110>. It was also observed that the {111} grains recrystallise firstly and in elongated colonies while grains whose orientations are near to {001} remain recovered.
