Resumo

O sopro combinado nos dois convertedores da Gerdau Acominas foi implantado em 2005. O sistema NK-CB (NKK Combined Blowing) é um projeto da SPCO (Steel Plantec CO.) com assistência técnica da JFE Engineering Corporation e consiste de 6 ventaneiras com controle individual de vazão e pressão de Argônio e Nitrogênio. Com a implantação deste sistema obteve-se uma redução no consumo de fundentes de 21,7% e no nível de oxidação médio fim de sopro do aço nos convertedores de 1072 ppm para 723 ppm de O2, com um aumento no rendimento metálico de 0,2%.

 

The combined blowing in the 2 converters at Gerdau Acominas was implanted in 2005. NK-CB System (NKK Combined Blowing) is a project of the SPCO (Steel Plantec CO.) with technical assistance of the JFE Engineering Corporation and it consists of 6 tuyeres with individual control of flow and pressure of Argon and Nitrogen. With the implantation of this system a reduction in the consumption of fluxes of 21,7% and in the average level of oxidation was gotten end of blow of the steel in the converters of 1072 ppm for 723 ppm of O2, with an increase in the metallic yield of 0,2%.
