Resumo

O aumento na qualidade dos produtos gerados pela aciaria e da produtividade está relacionado ao controle da composição química e das temperaturas do aço. Uma variável importante e facilitadora para este tipo de controle é a condição e a disponibilidade das panelas para atendimento da demanda de produção da aciaria. Buscando um aumento de produtividade e qualidade de seus produtos, a V&M do Brasil iniciou um trabalho que visa adquirir conhecimento das condições térmicas e operacionais das panelas, a fim de garantir uma otimização no controle das temperaturas do aço na aciaria. Em seguida, serão apresentadas as estratégias adotadas para melhoria da logística de panelas da aciaria através de um sistema denominado “Tracking de Panelas”. O controle de temperatura do aço apresentado neste trabalho tem como base, dados históricos do processo e informações adquiridas do sistema “Tracking de Panelas”.

 

The increase in the product quality and the productivity in the steel plant are related to the control of the chemical composition and the temperatures of the steel. An important variable for this type of control is the condition and the availability of ladles for attendance the production demand of the steel plant. Searching an increase of productivity and quality of its products, the V&M of Brazil initiated a work that it aims at to acquire knowledge of the thermal and operational conditions of ladles, in order to guarantee the improvement of temperature control of the steel. After that, the strategies adopted for improvement of the ladle logistic will be presented through a called system "Ladle Tracking". The control of temperature of the steel presented in this work has as base, given by historical of the process and acquired information using the “Ladle Tracking” system.
