Resumo

Nesse trabalho são avaliadas as propriedades físicas e mecânicas do compósito WC-6%Co fazendo uma análise em diferentes patamares de estabilidade térmica. Utilizou-se curvas otimizadas para 1.400oC, 1.430oC e 1.450oC. Realizou-se para cada curva de estabilidade térmica um comparativo entre suas propriedades. Nos ensaios realizados, a densidade, a variação dimensional e a dureza são fortemente influenciadas pela temperatura de sinterização. Na caracterização, amostras sinterizadas a 1450oC mostraram os melhores resultados.

 

The aim of this is work to investigate the mechanism of densification of WC-6%Co at different temperatures. It was used curves optimized for 1400oC, 1430°C and 1450°C. it was used for each curve of thermal stability a comparative between its properties. In the tests, the density, the dimensional variation and hardness are influenced by the temperature of sintering. The characterizing the samples sintered in 1450°C showed the best results.
