INFLUÊNCIA DO ÍON FLUORETO NO CRESCIMENTO
VOLTAMÉTRICO DE ÓXIDO SOBRE TITÂNIO GRAU 2: INFLUENCE OF THE FLUORIDE IONS IN VOLTAMMETRIC GROWTH OF
TITANIUM GRADE 2 OXIDE

O objetivo deste trabalho foi estudar a influência do íon fluoreto na estabilidade química do óxido TiO2 formado sobre titânio grau 2 ASTM, em solução tampão fosfato de pH 6,5 com NaCl 1%, contendo três diferentes concentrações de fluoreto de sódio iguais a 0,6%, 1% e 1,6%, respectivamente. Este estudo foi realizado através das técnicas eletroquímicas de cronopotenciometria e de voltametria. A cronopotenciometria evidenciou que ocorre o crescimento do filme de TiO2 durante imersão do titânio na solução em estudo mesmo na presença de íons fluoreto. O Modelo Ôhmico para crescimento voltamétrico de óxidos sobre metais foi aplicado para quantificar o crescimento do óxido na mesma solução, porém sem NaF, assim como para determinar os valores de resistividades iônicas do filme crescido por voltametria.

The aim of this work was to study the influence of the fluoride ions, regarding the chemical stability of the TiO2 oxide formed on titanium grade 2 ASTM, in buffer solution phosphate of pH 6,5 with NaCl 1%, contends three different concentrations of sodium fluoride (NaF) equal 0.6%, 1% and 1.6%, respectively. This study it was carried through the cronopotenciommetric and voltammetric electrochemical techniques. The cronopotenciommetric evidenced that the growth of the film of TiO2 occurs during immersion of titanium in the same solution studied in the presence of fluoride ions. The Ohmic Model for voltammetric oxide growth was applied to quantify the growth of oxide in the same solution, however without NaF, as well as determining the values of ionic resistivity of the film grown voltammetric.
