Resumo

O presente trabalho visa evidenciar a variação da microdureza das ligas de Ti-Nb- 2Al temperadas, com o teor de nióbio variando de 15 a 40% em peso, mantendo o teor de alumínio constante em 2%, e a avaliação da influência do nióbio, como elemento beta estabilizador do titânio, na estrutura final. Após a preparação metalográfica convencional das amostras, as ligas foram examinadas através da microscopia ótica, difração de raios-X e microdureza Vickers. Revelou-se a fase martensítica

 

The present work aims to evidence the microhardness variation of the Ti-Nb-2Al quenched alloys, with the niobium content varying from 15 to 40 wt%, keeping the aluminum content constant in 2 wt%, and the evaluation of the influence of the niobium, as beta stabilizer of titanium, in the final structure.
