Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho é a análise do desgaste de ferramentas de aço rápido AISI T15 sinterizado a vácuo. Os materiais foram submetidos aos tratamentos térmicos de recozimento a 870oC, austenitização a 1235oC e revenimento triplo a 540, 550 e 560oC. Em seguida, foram confeccionadas por eletroerosão pastilhas intercambiáveis segundo norma específica. A operação utilizada no presente trabalho foi o fresamento de chapas de aço SAE 1045 normalizadas. O aparato utilizado em questão é constituído basicamente de uma mesa instrumentada com quatro células de carga montadas com sensores do tipo “Strain Gages” capazes de medir os esforços de corte em três direções ortonormais. Os parâmetros de usinagem foram os valores de entrada enquanto as forças de corte, o acabamento superficial da peça usinada e o estado final da ferramenta, as variáveis de saída. Por fim, foram determinados e analisados comparativamente os desgastes das ferramentas.

 

The purpose of this study is the wear analysis of vacuum sintered AISI T15 high speed steel tools. The materials were submitted to annealing at 870oC, quenching at 1235oC and triple tempering (540, 550 and 560oC) heat treatments. After that, interchangeable inserts were made by electroerosion. The operation used in the present study was the end milling of normalized steel plates (SAE 1045) without coolant. The apparatus used in this study is constituted basically of an instrumented table with four load cells mounted with “Strain Gages” sensors capable to measure the cutting efforts in three orthogonal directions. The machining parameters were the entrance values while the cutting forces, the surface finishing of worked part and the tools final state were the exit variables. Finally, were determined and analyzed the tools wears comparatively.
