Resumo

O gás natural é o combustível de maior crescimento na matriz energética mundial, apresentando vantagens como: combustão limpa, redução de desmatamento (lenha), não poluidora do meio ambiente, dentre outras. O beneficiamento do gás natural é obtido em exploração de campos de petróleo terrestres e submarinos. Em plataforma off-shore, após o processo de separação, o gás natural é exportado em gasodutos até locais de recebimento para posterior distribuição. Falhas em gasodutos podem afetar a produção, segurança e meio ambiente. A corrosão interna é uma das formas de deterioração desses gasodutos. Para isso, é necessária uma rotina de análise e diagnósticos que visem à integridade dos mesmos. O estudo de caso apresentado mostra que a corrosão interna nesses gasodutos esteve por um período com taxas severas. Isso pode ser devido a vários fatores que contribuíram para esses valores. Medidas foram realizadas, resultando atualmente em baixas taxas de corrosão, garantindo a integridade deste sistema. Desta forma, o escopo deste trabalho fundamenta-se na efetividade das ferramentas utilizadas na monitoração da corrosão interna nos dutos de transporte de gás off-shore.

 

The natural gas is the fuel of larger growth in the world energy head office, presenting advantages as: combustion cleans, reduction of deforestation (firewood), no pollutant of the environment, among others. The improvement of the natural gas is obtained in exploration of terrestrial fields of petroleum and submarines. In platform off-shore, after the separation process, the natural gas is exported in gas pipelines until reception places for subsequent distribution. Failure in gas pipelines can affect the production, safety and environment. The intern corrosion is one in the ways of deterioration of those gas pipelines. For that, it is necessary an analysis routine and diagnoses that seek to the integrity of the same ones. The study of presented case shows that the interns corrosion in those gas pipelines was for a period with severe rates. That can be due to several factors that contributed to those values. Measures were accomplished, resulting now in low corrosion rates, guaranteeing the integrity of this system. This way, the mark of this work is based in the effectiveness of the tools used in the monitoring of the interns corrosion in the pipeline of transport of gas off- shore.
