Resumo

Este trabalho apresenta uma melhoria no controle de temperatura e na estabilidade da emulsão no processo de refrigeração da 5a Cadeira do Laminador de Tiras à Frio no3 da CSN, através da utilização de uma metodologia de avaliação de desempenho de trocadores de calor e de projeto, para que a emulsão se mantivesse na sua temperatura ideal de trabalho. Os resultados encontrados pelos cálculos que são apresentados mostraram-se coerentes com os resultados reais verificados na implantação do novo trocador de calor no Sistema de Refrigeração da 5a Cadeira, mostrando os pontos positivos, não só pela eficiência, onde conseguimos uma melhor estabilidade operacional e do processo, além de melhorias na qualidade superficial e aplainamento da tira.

 

This work presents an improvement in the temperature control and in the stability of the emulsion in the cooling process of the 5th Stand of the Cold Strip Mill no3 of CSN, through the use of an evaluation methodology of acting of heat exchangers and of design, so that the emulsion stayed in her ideal work temperature, besides an evaluation in the economical matter and of maintenance. The results found by the calculations that are presented were shown coherent with the real results verified in the implantation of the new heat exchanger in the System of Cooling of the 5th Stand, showing the positive points, not only for the efficiency, where we got a better operational stability and of the process, besides improvements surface quality and flattening.
