Resumo

A ETE/LTQ#2 é uma área vital para o processo produtivo de bobinas a quente. Qualquer anormalidade no funcionamento operacional desta estação acarreta perda de produção no Laminador. Foi isto que ocorreu em janeiro de 2007 quando houve problemas na terminação dos cabos de potência junto ao transformador do circuito B-521 e em dezembro do mesmo ano, quando houve explosão de uma chave desligadora a óleo (CDO), que acarretaram sérios prejuízos a processo de produção do LTQ#2. Iniciou-se então um processo de busca de soluções para melhorar a confiabilidade e a segurança do sistema elétrico que atendesse as moto-bombas da ETE/LTQ#2 no sentido de diminuir o risco de interferências no processo de produção em decorrência de anormalidades elétricas. Em junho de 2010 foram concluídas as implementações das soluções encontradas para melhorar esta performance, que consistiram em repotenciar os dois circuitos alimentadores da ETE/LTQ#2 (B-521 e B- 570), substituição dos transformadores existentes por outros de maior potência (3,75 MVA por 5,5 MVA) de ambos os circuitos e substituição das CDO’S existentes por disjuntores à SF6.

 

The ETE/LTQ#2 is an vital area for the production process of coiled hot rolled strip. Any problems in the operating functions in this station results in the loss production in the mill. This is what occurred in 2007 January when there was problems in the termination of the power cables from the transformer of the circuit B#521 and in December in the same year, when there was an explosion of the oil cutout switch, which resulted in serious injury to the production process of the LTQ#2. Thus, began a search process for solutions to improve the confiability and security of the electrical system that meets the motor pumps of the ETE/LTQ#2 to reduce the risk of interference in the production process in result of the electrical faults. In 2010 June, was completed the implementations of the solutions to improve this performance, which consisted of repowering the two power circuits of the ETE/LTQ # 2 (B-521 and B-570), replacement of the transformers for others of higher power (3.75 MVA to 5.5 MVA) of both circuits and replacement the oil cutout switch for SF6 circuit breakers.
