Resumo

No contexto da empresa siderúrgica ArcelorMittal Tubarão, este artigo aborda um estudo de caso da utilização da ferramenta OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiviness) do sistema de gerenciamento de dados, PIMS (Process Information Management Systems), na gestão do processo da unidade do RH (Ruhrstahl Heraeus). Com o objetivo de analisar a produtividade do equipamento e identificar possíveis limitações na operação da unidade encarregada pelo refino do aço, RH. A metodologia proposta pretendeu, além de auxiliar na medição do OEE, mostrar como ele pode ser medido de forma automática, diminuindo os erros de inserção manual de dados e aumentando a exatidão nos cálculos dos indicadores de disponibilidade e desempenho. O objetivo do trabalho é realizar uma comparação temporal do equipamento, entende-se que na empresa o OEE é um indicador utilizado como comparação do próprio equipamento para promoção de sua melhoria contínua. Os resultados mostram como é possível identificar os eventos de produção e parada e analisar suas causas focando nas mais prioritárias.

 

In the context of the steel company ArcelorMittal Tubarão, this article addresses a case study of the use of the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) tool of the data management system, PIMS (Process Information Management Systems), in the process management of the RH unit (Ruhrstahl Heraeus). With the objective of analyzing the productivity of the equipment and identifying possible limitations in the operation of the unit in charge of the steel refining, RH. In addition to helping to measure the OEE, the proposed methodology showed how it can be measured automatically, reducing errors of manual insertion of data and increasing the accuracy in the calculations of the indicators of availability and performance. The objective of the work is to perform a temporal comparison of the equipment, it is understood that in the company the OEE is an indicator used as a comparison of the equipment itself to promote its continuous improvement. The results show how it is possible to identify the production and stop events and analyze their causes focusing on the most important ones.
