Resumo
Na ArcelorMittal Tubarão a Manutenção tem função estratégica, sendo a missão da manutenção garantir a estabilidade do processo de produção via redução de variabilidade. Na siderurgia os ativos são elevados e qualquer parada de equipamento tem como conseqüência a perda de milhares de dólares. A execução da manutenção é feita por empresas especializadas, enquanto que as atividades estratégicas são realizadas pelos empregados da ArcelorMittal Tubarão. As Parceiras devem ser pré- qualificadas com base na sua especialização, e os contratos firmados com cláusulas de performance ou resultado. Com isso, sedimenta-se a gestão da manutenção por confiabilidade permitindo a maximização da utilização dos ativos da empresa. Para cumprir esta diretriz, entendemos que a contratação de serviços deve ser padronizada, visando proteger os negócios da empresa. Evidenciamos que tais ações têm sido um grande diferencial competitivo da ArcelorMittal Tubarão. O foco deste trabalho é mostrar a evolução do processo de contratação na ArcelorMittal Tubarão e apresentar alguns resultados obtidos após a implantação das diretrizes do planejamento estratégico.
At ArcelorMittal Tubarão, the Maintenance has a strategic function. The maintenance mission is to assure the stability of the production process by reducing the variability. In Iron and Steel plants, the assets are high and any problems with the equipment will results loss of thousands of dollars. Execution of the planned maintenance service is done by specialist partnership, while the strategic activities like inspection and scheduling are conducted by employees of ArcelorMittal Tubarão. The partnership must be selected based on their specialization and the contracts must be selled with clauses of performance or result. In the way, the reliability of the maintenance management can grow stronger, expanding the company sets.To follow the guideline, we believe that the contracting of service should also be standardized form, willing to protect the Company business. All of those actions had been a great competitive differential of ArcelorMittal Tubarão. The focus of our work, besides showing our evolution in the contracting process in the ArcelorMittal Tubarão, is to present some of the results after the implantation of the guidelines of the strategic management.
