MODELLING OF THE HYSTERESIS CURVE IN NANOCRYSTALLINE NdFeB BONDED MAGNETS

Resumo

Ímãs aglomerados NdFeB foram produzidos com pó MPQB+ da MagneQuench. Os ímãs foram compactados com pressões entre 600 a 900 MPa. Análise microestrutural por difração de raios-x com Rietveld demonstrou que os ímãs são isotrópicos, nanocristalinos e apresentam apenas a fase Nd2(Fe,Co)14B. Curvas de histerese foram medidas em magnetômetro de amostras vibrante e em histeresígrafo. Curvas de histerese foram modeladas com o modelo Stoner- Wohlfarth puro (2 parâmetros de ajuste) e com o modelo SW-CLC (3 parâmetros de ajuste).

 

NdFeB Bonded Magnets were produced with MQPB+ powder of MagneQuench. The magnets were compacted with pressures between 600 to 900 MPa. Microstructural analysis by X-ray Diffraction and Rietveld revealed that the magnets are isotropic, nanocrystalline and single phase Nd2(Fe,Co)14B . Hysteresis curves were measured in vibrating sample magnetometer and in hysteresigraph. The hysteresis curves were modeled with the pure Stoner-Wohlfarth model (two adjusting parameters) and with the SW-CLC model (three adjusting parameters).
