Resumo

Através de simulações computacionais utilizando o método de Monte Carlo em três dimensões, verifica-se a evolução microestrutural durante o crescimento de grão. As distribuições de tamanho de grão e distribuições de números de faces são comparadas com expressões analíticas e com simulações que empregam diferentes técnicas, retiradas de artigos publicados anteriormente. Os resultados foram satisfatórios, uma vez que obteve uma boa concordância entre as simulações e as teorias analíticas.

 

Through computational simulations using method Monte Carlo in three dimensions, it is verified microstructural evolution during the grain growth. The grain size distributions and faces numbers distributions are compared with analytical expressions and simulations that use different techniques, removed of published articles previously. The results had been satisfactory, a time that got a good agreement between the simulations and analytical theories.
