Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar as melhorias realizadas no processo de embarque da Gerdau Açominas nas operações portuárias do Terminal de Praia Mole-ES em 2005, 2006 e 2007 com o objetivo de aumentar o nível de produtividade visando o aumento da produção e exportação da Gerdau Açominas em 2008. A metodologia do trabalho consistiu primeiramente na identificação dos problemas e levantamento de suas conseqüências no processo como um todo. As ações implantadas em 2005, 2006 e 2007 através do inicio deste trabalho proporcionaram resultados de até 39% de aumento na produtividade dos embarques da Gerdau Açominas no Terminal de Praia Mole.

 

The objective of this work aims to demonstrate the improvements made in our process of shipment of steel products at Praia Mole Port – ES from 2005 to 2007 with the objective to increase the level of productivity looking for the growing of production and exportation of Gerdau Açominas mill in 2008. The methodology of the work was made studying the problems and collecting information of the results of all process. The actions implanted from 2005 to 2007 through the beginning of this work provided resulted up to 39% of increase in the productivity of our operations.
