Resumo

Apresentamos resultados para perdas histeréticas em chapas de aço silício que sofreram diferentes reduções na espessura por laminação e também em chapas que sofreram posterior recozimento. Foram determinadas as propriedades magnéticas, o tamanho de grão e a textura cristalográfica por difração de elétrons retro- espalhados (EBSD). A relação entre a microestrutura e os mecanismos de magnetização é discutida. Os dados são confrontados com um modelo onde a perda histerética é dividida em parcelas de alta e baixa indução.

 

We present results for hysteresis losses in silicon steel sheets whose thickness had been reduced by rolling and also in sheets which had been annealed. The magnetic properties were determined as well as the grain size and the crystallographic texture by electron backscatter diffraction. The relation between microstructure and magnetization mechanisms is discussed. The data are confronted with a model where the hysteresis loss is divided into high and low induction parts.
