It is always the target of operator to ensure the high utilization rate during pulverized coal injection into blast furnace. In this study, laboratory experiments and cross-sectional test of blast furnace are included. For one thing, in the lab, with observation of the curve of TG-DTA and reaction products, reaction rules of unburned pulverized coal with CO2 in different proportion are researched. Conclusion as follows: i) the practical gasification reaction rate of unburned pulverized coal in blending is higher than weighted value of each single coal; ii) with the increase of temperature, if difference of two values is greater, at the higher temperature unburned pulverized coal shows greater important role in coke protection; iii) at the same temperature, the reactivity of three different kinds of blended coal is higher than that of two different kinds of blended coal. For another, study on the anatomy of unburned pulverized coal in blast furnace, it can reveal the actual variation rules of unburned pulverized coal during the smelting process.
