Resumo

O presente trabalho apresenta um estudo de recuperação de minerais portadores de ferro contidos no rejeito de flotação da Usina de Beneficiamento IBII de Alegria – Complexo Mariana para a produção de pellet feed. O estudo indica que a aplicação de concentradores magnéticos de alta intensidade poderá ocasionar um incremento nas recuperações mássica e metalúrgica desta usina, o que tornaria o projeto bastante atrativo em termos econômicos, pois apresentaria elevada TIR e pay-back rápido.

 

This paper presents a study of recovery of iron bearing minerals in the tailings from the flotation plant IBII Processing of Joy - Mariana Complex for the production of pellet feed. The study indicates that the application of magnetic concentrators for high intensity may cause an increase in recoveries of mass and metal plant, which would make the project very attractive in economic terms, since they have high TIR and pay-back quickly.
