PROGRAMA DE MELHORIA DA QUALIDADE DO ENSINO NAS ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS DE TIMÓTEO

Resumo

A ACESITA S/A, com o intuito de criar um espaço de integração entre Empresa- Comunidade, constituiu a Fundação Acesita para o Desenvolvimento Social, para ser o seu “braço social” junto à comunidade, sendo sua mantenedora. Criou-se então, o Programa de Melhoria da Qualidade do Ensino nas Escolas Públicas de Timóteo, com o objetivo de contribuir para a melhoria da qualidade do ensino, estabelecendo uma rotina de cooperação e parceria com escolas e poder público do município, investindo na capacitação continua dos educadores, na otimização da rede física e promovendo a participação da comunidade. Para isso, firmou convênio com o Governo do Estado, através da sua Secretaria de Educação e com a Prefeitura Municipal, através da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, Cultura, Esporte e Lazer. Assim, todas as escolas públicas, estaduais e municipais, passaram a ser beneficiadas, através da implantação de projetos. Expressivos resultados são observados, tais como: Timóteo – 5o IDH de Minas Gerais – Educação de Qualidade; 1.928 horas de capacitação com mais de 30 mil participações de educadores; 100% das escolas estaduais com proficiência igual ou superior a 70% na avaliação do Sistema Mineiro de Avaliação Escolar; participação de 45.151 estudantes em projetos envolvendo assuntos como: Educação para o Trânsito, Combate às Drogas, Empreendedorismo e Canto Coral. Implantando o Programa, conseguiu-se consolidar uma parceria efetiva com escolas e poder público, independente de ideologias políticas, com um trabalho de planejamento integrado, possibilitando a ampliação e o fortalecimento das ações na área de educação.

 

ACESITA S/A, with the intention of creating a space for integration among Company- community, constituted the Acesita Foundation for Social Development to be its "social arm" close to the community, being its supporter. The Program for Improvement of Teaching Quality at Timóteo's Public Schools was then created, with the objective of contributing for the improvement of the teaching quality, establishing a routine cooperation and partnership with schools and public power of the municipal district, investing in the continues training of the educators, in the optimization of school network and promoting the participation of the community. For that, an agreement with the State Government was created, through its General office of Education and with the City hall, through the Municipal General office of Education, Culture, Sport and Leisure. Thus, all the public, state and municipal schools started to be benefited from the implantation of projects. Expressive results are observed, such as: Timóteo - 5th IDH of Minas Gerais - Quality Education; 1.928 hours of training with more than 30 thousand participations by educators; 100% of the state schools with proficiency equivalent to or superior to 70% in the evaluation of the School Evaluation System of Minas Gerais; 45.151 students' participation in projects involving subjects such as: Traffic Education, Drug Combat, Entrepreneurism and The Children's Choir. With the implantation of the Program, it was made possible to consolidate an effective partnership with schools and public power, independently of political ideologies, with an integrated planning work, making possible the enlargement and the invigoration of the actions in the education area.
