Resumo

O setor de ferramentarias possui dificuldades em padronizar sua produção, dado que fabrica itens não seriados. Com o objetivo de minimizar esses efeitos, foi realizado um estudo baseado nos fundamentos clássicos de metodologia de projeto de produtos, que permitiu elaborar um processo de projeto capaz de mapear as principais atividades relacionadas ao projeto de um novo item da ferramentatia. Para as fases mais críticas e que possuem relacionamento direto com os clientes, o planejamento de projeto e o projeto conceitual, foram utilizadas ferramentas para cada uma delas, como checklist e reuniões para brainstorming. Essas ferramentas permitem o rastreamento confiável das informações. O checklist inicial de projeto garante que todas as informações sejam coletadas e estejam de fácil acesso aos interessados no projeto. E a reunião de brainstorming permite que todos os envolvidos no projeto dem sua contribuição dentro de sua especialidade. Assim com pouca documentação se pode chegar à melhor solução, determinar prazos de entrega e custos muito mais precisos. Aplicação do processo proposto em situações reais possibilitou diagnosticar a redução de retrabalhos e produtos finais que atenderam as necessidades do cliente tanto em qualidade como no prazo de entrega.

 

The toolroom have difficulties in standardizing its production, because manufactures items not serials, therefore each mold, tool or device is constructed in accordance with the necessities of the customer. With the objective to minimize this effect, a study based on the design methodology of products classic was carried through, that allowed to elaborate a process of design capable to meet the main activities related to the design of a new product of the industry. For the phases most critical and that they possess direct relationship with the customers, the planning of design and the conceptual design, tools for each one of them had been used, as checklist, the structure of decomposition of work and meetings for brainstorming. These tools allow the trustworthy tracking of the information. Checklist initial of design guarantees that all the information is collected and is of easy access to the interested parties in the design. Already the structure of decomposition of work makes the organization to work in the same rhythm, searching best resulted in way integrated. E the meeting of brainstorming allows that all the involved ones in the design inside its contribution of its specialty. Thus with little documentation if it can arrive at the best solution, to determine much more necessary stated periods of delivery and costs. Application of the process considered in real situations made possible to diagnosis the reduction of re-work and end items that had in such a way taken care of the necessities of the customer in quality as in the delivery stated period.
